The Master bedroom opens onto the veranda with a gorgeous view of the lush garden.  It features a comfortable double bed.  There is a spacious seating area and a large bay window.  The 2 wardrobes and dresser have ample space. The en-suite bathroom includes a shower and bathtub with a garden view.


This inviting room decorated in hues of Spring in shades of pink, features 2 comfortable single beds.  Ample wardrobe and dresser space. Relax on the sofa in the bay window, that opens out onto the veranda and enjoy the view on the garden.


The hues of Autumn create special warmth in this spacious room, featuring 2 comfortable single beds.  The outside double doors open out onto the veranda with a lovely garden view. Ample wardrobe and dresser space.


Crisp blues invites you into the coolness of the Winter Room, with an en-suite bathroom with a shower.The winter Room opens out onto a veranda with a vintage garden table and 4 chairs, and a secluded garden.

Ouma se Opstal - Self-catering House

The house is fully equipped for self catering, with a modern kitchen.  A microwave stove top and 2 ovens.

Crockery, silverware, pots and pans and utensils. Adjacent to the kitchen is a cosy breakfast nook where the family can enjoy breakfast.  The kitchen also harbours a display of antique and vintage utensils, with each a story to tell.

Dining Room
The spacious Dining Room that leads out of the kitchen offers a large dining table seating 8. Delicious meals can be served here. The dining room looks onto the Living or Family Room.

The Living or Family Room
This room has comfortable seating, a TV and a ceiling fan.  There is also a futon with bedding for 2 extra guests.  Double doors lead out onto the Patio and Braai area.

Patio and Braai area
The Patio is spacious with 2 vintage tables and 8 chairs.  A Swing bench is in the shade of an old bougainvillea pergola. The braai area is sufficient to braai juicy steaks, lamb chops and boerewors.   The patio also has a view on the swimming pool and the swings and see-saw for the kids.

The Formal Antique Lounge
Antique family heirlooms date from 1900. Handmade garments, wedding dresses, crochet articles and toys.

Pieces of Grandpa’s work shop and also something personal.  His violin that dates from 1729.
A collection of Bibles and Hymn books - Grandma’s university note book and recipe books, story books and a lot more!
